The Urban Salon met at 6pm Monday 24 January 2011  for its annual meeting dedicated to London issues.

 

This year we have a joint meeting with the Just Space Network on:

 
"Lessons from the London Plan Examination in Public (EiP) -
June - December 2010: How communities and researchers can
co-operate" 
 
JustSpaceis a London-wide alliance of community groups, voluntarysectororganisations and special interest groups taking part in the EiPtopress the GLA to improve the Plan, to make London a fairer andmoreenvironmentally sound city.
 
Speakers fromtheLondon Forum of Civic and Amenity Societies and the LondonTenants'Federation will join Richard Lee and Michael Edwards of JustSpace todiscuss their experiences with the London Plan process. Loretta Lees of the Cities Group at KCL will be discussant.
